Привет Иван!
Hello Ivan,
First of all, congratulations on what looks to be an incredible new approach to innovative e-commerce. I have no doubt you'll develop it into a serious platform and find numerous interested parties.
Ivan, I was a student at Moscow State University as well. Let me help you out at least by editing your presentation page of yours because it really is quite difficult to read and understand what you mean sometimes.
E-mail me by clicking on the "PROFILE" button with this message (get my e-mail from there) if you'd like me to edit the page.
I can also be in the lookout for potential investors. Speaking of investors, what's the estimated budget that is needed to finish the development of this platform?
You surely can contact me in Russian. I speak it fluently. :D
In the meantime, all the best with your project and good luck!

Folks, since this is an English-based forum, I'll translate the above message from Ivan so everyone feels comfortable.
Ivan Says: "Hello,
Its very nice to hear kind comments and reviews. I'm sure you'll find it interesting to learn more details of this project. I bank on your support.
I'll wait for your letter at: ....
Regards,
Shmelev Ivan"
As for my additional comment, the platform he is developing is quite amazing really! I recommend to study the presentation. If it is indeed succeeds, Ivan could be in the history text-book of e-commerce.
Best,

So, this would be a kiosk type of placement, right? Kind of like a hot-dog stand linked to your product db?
If I'm correct, believe it or not, these already exist. I can't remember where I saw this, but I'm 99% sure I've seen this concept.
It's a great concept for sure, and I'll be eager to see how this develops.
I especially want to see how this will integrate with an existing online shopping system. For example, I would want all kiosk sales data to feed into the main db so that the site inventory numbers would reflect any kiosk sales. The centralization of data is what I mean.
Here are some thoughts:
1. How would the kiosk send a sales receipt to the customer if the customer does not have a computer? It couldn't be an email receipt. So, I guess the kiosk would have to generate a physical paper receipt?
2. Can the kiosk sales data be tied into the real-time main db? I would want real-time sales numbers. I guess I'm repeating myself with this. What I mean is that I would want the kiosk to simply be an arm of the website system.
3. Have you lined up any manufacturers of the kiosks? What would be the costs?
4. What would the kiosks have to consist of physically? I guess they could be like simple little workstations that you see in some airports.
5. Could the kiosk system handle several web companies? For example, several companies might want to share a location. This could make things pretty interesting. You could offer either a multi-company nav page, or you could combine the data so that a search would be of the multi-company db's. The results would reflect only what those companies provide, not the whole internet.
Well, that's a start..... :)
Some of the answers to the above questions are probably pretty obvious, like tying all the data from the kiosk to the website together, but I thought I'd ask the questions anyway.
Thanks very much :) :)

You are not right. It is great idea for small cities, too.
The cities where is not make sense to build the supermarket.
You only can setup the one E-Stend and sell much goods.

Has anyone ever done a study of how effective kiosks really are?
I mean it might be that the kiosk can be a window to your entire inventory, but do customers really use kiosks? How much?
Do they trust them? Is there a way to build trust in them? In other words, could a company list on their website all of their kiosk locations so that customers would feel confident that if they see a kiosk at location X that it is not a scam machine just gathering people's credit card numbers?
The bottom line is how do customers respond to kiosks as sales channels?
Thanks :)

Can need to have registration for installation E=Stand.
It seems the fraud is excluded.
Trust to deserve easily - the price is lower, than in shop.
In any case, development and marketing of intrente-shop at the discretion of its owner.
I offer only technical realization.
Soon I shall find the translator and I shall translate all my articles.
And you can receive more detailed information about the project.
